Question: Jobs on a carnival or royal caribbean cruise ship?

I'm interested in working for a cruise ship. I just don't know what jobs they offer and what they entail. Also, I would like to know salaries for the certain jobs available. thanks in advance to anyone that helps!!! :)

If you're an American, your chances are slim, unless you apply for the Norwegian ship that sails only in Hawaii. [That ship is notorious for its poor service.] Americans generally won't work under the conditions required for a job on a cruise ship: long hours, long work week, very low pay, crowded accommodations on board, long contracts, little time to go ashore, etc, etc. However, if you're interested in applying, each of the cruise line websites has a link to "employment ".

My neighbor works for Disney cruise lines and she LOVES it, she's one of the characters in the nightly shows. I'm sure you would be able to go on the website and look for an employment link! Good Luck!!!!
